Welcome to our class! My name is Ashley Daymon. I have been teaching in Manatee County since 2005. I hold certifications in Science, Social Studies, Elementary Education, ESOL Endorsement and Reading Endorsement.
Growing up in Manatee County, I am a fourth generation Floridian. I graduated from Lakewood Ranch High School in 2001. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from USF in December 2004. I began teaching the following January. In 2009, I completed my Master's degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Aeronautics specializing in Space Education. I have been happily married to Andrew since 2007. We have two amazing daughters, Savannah, who is in First grade here at Williams Elementary, and Charlie who is in VPK. Our family enjoys boating, fishing and pretty much any type of water activity. There is nothing better than sitting on the beach with a good book relaxing! I LOVE reading, especially books about historical events/figures and other non-fiction topics. We also have two silly dogs, Coby and Jasmine. |
